Noodle Texas Farm

On our trip to West Texas last year we spent most of our time visiting with old friends and relatives. A couple of times though we slipped away and went in search of my favorite subject matter old deserted houses and barns. We found this barn or shed depending on your point of view I guess, just outside of Noodle Texas. Although you can't see it in the photo it is actually fenced in and part of a ranch apparently where cattle are or have been raised. I liked the loneliness of it and how different the weeds and trees looked as opposed to abandoned places found up north. The weeds in West Texas seem to all have a worse bite than those I am accustomed to.
